Economic problems and solutions from the scientific conferences in Bulgaria
Abstract
The aim of the study is to identify the main economic problems - the subject of discussion among the scientific community in the framework of the economic scientific conferences in Bulgaria, the proposed solutions and the quality of their argumentation. The object of the study are 300 articles from 8 conferences held in 2016, organized by 12 out of 26 universities and institutes with economic specialties. To achieve the set objective, an analytical toolkit for systematic evaluation based on best practices of reputable national and international journals is proposed and applied. Based on the results obtained, conclusions and recommendations are formulated for clear issues and purpose of scientific conferences, coherence of their themes and dissemination of the argued decisions in order to assist the formation of a scientifically based strategy and policy of economic development as well as economic sciences.
